Additionally, if TV broadcasting is involved, the lighting must also meet the requirements for television broadcasting.

How can sports field lighting be safely used?

Safety should be a top priority when designing and installing sports field lighting to prevent accidents from occurring. Sports field lighting fixtures should come equipped with or be accompanied by angle adjustment indicators. This allows construction personnel to adjust the lighting angle of the fixtures accurately based on the sports field lighting design, facilitating quick installation and adjustment of the fixtures, thereby reducing the time spent working at heights.

Sports field lighting fixtures installed at high elevations should be lightweight, compact, and have a low wind load coefficient. The locking device of the sports field lighting fixture should be able to withstand the maximum wind load under operating conditions. The structural strength, stiffness, and service life of the lighting pole should comply with relevant national design standards. If the windward area of the sports field lighting fixture is too large and the structural strength of the lighting pole is insufficient, there is a risk of the lighting pole being blown down or bent in high winds. How can sports field lighting be economically reasonable and energy-saving?

Firstly, the stadium lighting fixtures should achieve high light efficiency, such as the Huaxia Beidou Star stadium lighting fixtures with a light efficiency of up to 130lm/w, to maximize the conversion rate of electrical energy. The protection level of the outdoor stadium lighting fixture casing should not be lower than IP55, and for places that are difficult to maintain or have serious pollution, the protection level should not be lower than IP65, to reduce the difficulty of stadium lighting maintenance and decrease maintenance costs.

The average vertical illuminance of the first 12 rows of seating facing the playing area with television broadcasting requirements should not be less than 10% of the average vertical illuminance in the direction of the main camera. The average horizontal illuminance value of the platform should not be less than 200lx, and the minimum horizontal illuminance value of the spectator seating should not be less than 50lx.
